This week has been really long...just because this break could not come fast enough. Katy left Tuesday to go to nationals for cross country in Florida. That's right....my roomate runs fast. :) She doesn't run until today though, but I'm sure she'll do great. She's awesome.
Tuesday night I went to the Miller's for a "Thanksgiving party." It was just desserts and games and I didn't stay long because I had a lot of homework but it was pretty fun.
Wednesday I played racquetball with Steven and Jordan and completely forgot that it was Wednesday, so I missed my bible study. It was kinda sad...but this week I completely lost track of what day it was.
Pretty much all day yesterday I was either doing homework or doing nothing. I got "assignment 2" done for my internship even though I haven't gotten an email back from the missionary I'm staying with. Bree cut my hair. That was pretty exciting, since it's been a year since I cut my hair. It feels a lot better. I will never go that long without at least trimming it ever again. I still have a bunch of split ends, but it's a lot smoother and it feels healthier. Hopefully it'll grow back in time for the mass donation to Locks Of Love in March. If it grows fast enough I'm going to try to get another trim so I won't have as many split ends.
Whelp...the long awaited Friday is here, and I only have 2 more classes today and then I'M OUTTA HERE!!!!!!!!! woop woop

So...I've gotten really bad about keeping this up to date....sorry to anyone who actually reads this. I'll try to fill it all in.
The Friday after my last post I did go see Batman with Jenifer, Jordan, and Steven. Then we went to play soccer but right after we started playing for real this security guy came and told us to leave. He said we weren't allowed to be there after 11....even though we do it every week. So Drew, Gerald, and some guy I didn't know ran to the Berryhill. We played on the Christmas display they're building but then we saw a cop so we ran away. We went and played in the empty pool instead. It was pretty fun.
I can say with confidence that I got nothing accomplished last Saturday. I got up and went to breakfast with Jenifer and Jessie, but that was eating so it doesn't count for anything productive. I'm pretty sure I slept, watched movies, and played on the computer the majority of the day. I might have done something that night, but I don't remember. Which means if it was something, it was nothing, just with other people.
Sunday I went to Pine View. It might have been better if I had been with someone...but I was by myself so I was a little uncomfortable. But I did meet this girl who goes to Harding. I haven't seen her since...but she was nice. Probably the most exciting part of the day was playing racquetball for the first time. It was really fun. So fun I'm taking and tennis and racquetball class next semester. We also made Jordan watch the Newsies cuz he'd never seen it. He liked it.
The past week is kind of a blur....I remember doing laundry Tuesday cuz I just barely made it back in time for curfew. If I hadn't gotten a ride from the golf cart guy I never would have made it. 12:13. whew. Wednesday I had a history test...I can never seem to motivate myself to study for those tests. I've gotten C's on the past 3. I'm going to have to dominate that final...egh. I also made peanut butter squares for my bible study Wednesday night. Everybody loved them. They all got eaten. We had an intern meeting that night too...I actually met the people I'm going to Thailand with so I'm not as scared, even though they're all juniors and they all know each other. Whatev.
I remember doing not much of anything Thursday cuz I had a French test Friday. I can actually motivate myself to study for that class because it's part of my major and I'm interested in it. I actually stayed up until 4:30 studying...I'm not sure how I stayed awake in chapel (maybe because Jon Ross did a painting and it was absolutely amazing) and all my classes (even history!!!). I won't know until tomorrow how I did but I feel like I should get an A.
I didn't have Bible Thursday or Friday cuz Matt was in Chicago. Oh and I did my schedule for next semester Thursday too. I'm taking Education Foundations, Photography, College Algebra, Wellness, Old Testament, Tennis and Racquetball, and French. The only classes I'm not looking forward to are Algebra and Wellness...everything else should be pretty good.
When I got done with my French test I went to sleep. Then I got up to go work out with Frank. It was pretty fun. I went to dinner without changing clothes, but I changed before we went to see Superman Returns. I must say I was quite disappointed. I don't think I've ever seen a Superman movie before, but Smallville is definitely much better. We played cards in the Student Center afterwards and then Jenifer came and we watched the Newsies cuz she hasn't seen it either except she fell asleep so we didn't finish it.
Yesterday Katy and I did this "Rake and Run" thing. We didn't really run...we just went and raked random people's yards. It was actually really fun. Chelsie and this guy named Austin were in our "group" and we took lots of pictures and it was really fun. There's this awesome picture of me where I'm completely horizontal in the air above a pile of leaves. It's going to be my new facebook picture whenever Chelsie puts them online.
After that I went up to Caroline's room for something and she was about to do "Yoga Botty Ballet" so I did it with her. It could have very easily been the hardest workout I've ever done. I am so sore right now. Between that, working out with Frank, and raking leaves, my body hurts all over. Arms, back, abs, buns, legs....everything but my head. Cuz there aren't a lot of muscles to work out there. I had trouble walking down the stairs without my legs collapsing. It's worse today than yesterday...
But last night we went to Little Rock. It was Brittany, Caroline, and these two girls I didn't know, Amanda, and Alison. Turns out Alison's going to France when I'm going so I think we're going to be friends. But we went to Old Navy where they were having a huge sale. I got a skirt and some shorts for less than $7. It was awesome. Then we went to McAllister's where there were some weird guys checking us out and the manager was betting the cook how old we were. It was interesting....but very fun. Then we went to Cold Stone....which is always amaaaazing. And Barnes & Noble where we read kids' Christmas books. I also almost left my purse, which is why I don't carry them on a regular basis. We came back and played Uno for a bit and then went to bed.
I was going to go to church at Fellowship this morning but my alarm clock didn't go off. I was really sad....it's the first time I've missed church since I've been here other than this time I skipped Downtown one Sunday night. But I watched Pride and Prejudice this afternoon for the first time. It was pretty good....I went to Wal Mart...I went to Downtown....I read....Now I'm going to bed.

This week has made me truly realize how convenient a cell phone is. My social life has suffered greatly with my lack of phone...I never know when anyone's doing anything because they can't call me and tell me and I can't call anyone and ask if they want to do something with me...so I've been spending much more time in my room...and on facebook...which I'm convinced is not a bad thing, but it certainly isn't good either. *sigh*
Monday I did the first official commercial for Harding...all frickin day. It was by far the most boring day since I've been here. But I met some new people and I'll be getting a check pretty soon for at least $50, probably more since it was from 9-5, so that'll be really nice.
Tuesday was Halloween. :] I wasn't going to get dressed up, but then when trick-or-treaters started coming I changed my mind and started trying to put an outfit together. It wasn't very successful until Katy was like "Hey, I have this thing that my sister's roomate gave me that you can wear." It was like this cool Egyptian robe with a thingy that tied around and jingled. :] We went trick-or-treating. It was fun, even though I don't really eat candy.
It was also frickin cold. Ever since Tuesday night it's been a lot colder. I wore my winter coat today, although it was sunny so I didn't really need it towards the afternoon...but still. I can stand cold weather for a while, but if it doesn't snow, I get a little cranky. It hasn't been cold enough long enough for me to be cranky yet, but I hear it doesn't really snow around here so I'm thinking second semester might not be the happiest of times.
There aren't really any plans for this weekend. Batman Begins is playing in the Benson tomorrow. I'll probably go to that because I haven't really been using my pass that much. I gotta get my money's worth. I'm sure there will be soccer too...probably tomorrow. That always makes me happy. :]
